Accreditation in the U.S. is a voluntary, non-governmental process that is undertaken by private agencies. Some, but not all, of those agencies have applied for and received approval from the U.S. Department of Education or the Council on Higher Education Accreditation (CHEA), which maintains criteria for such approval. Those agencies that are so approved enable their members to qualify for several billion dollars annually of federal student funds. This creates a “gatekeeper” role for such agencies and a direct relationship between them and the federal government. The main reason why many institutions in the U.S. seek accreditation is to gain access to federal student funds, which are not available to schools that do not hold accreditation.

Both our schools belong to our ministry New Alliance Ministries, a USA Federally recognized 501(C)3, non-profit organization in the State of Florida registered under Document #90-0793792. The Ministry and all its branches of ministries are in full compliance with the Federal Government of the United States and the institutions are registered in the respective states or countries where educational and ministry services are provided.
New Alliance International University is accredited by the European Agency QAHE and can be verified as an Educational institutions operating all over the world. Certifications and International Association for Quality Assurance in Higher Education (QAHE) include ISO ISO/IEC 17011:2017 and ISO/IEC 17040:2005 Certifications from AQS, UK. ISO/IEC 17011:2017

Both our schools are registered with the State of Florida Department of Corporations NAIU N24000013072 and NATS N11000003881 and are commissioned by the Departement of Education under the commission of independent studies as Christian institutions and are therefore exempt from licensure in compliance with Section 1005.06(1)(f), Florida Statutes pursuant to religious institutions.
New Alliance Theological Seminary and New Alliance International University of Jesup, Haiti, are hereby officially recognized as a Certified Members (387I24M & 388I24M) of the Association of Independent Christian Colleges and Seminaries, which now includes 809 member schools in 68 nations around the world. Certified Membership in AICCS is not the same as Accreditation; however, it does represent the first step in the process toward achieving that level of academic recognition.
New Alliance Ministries and New Alliance Theological Seminary are registered and incorporated with the State of Georgia and are serving in every area of ministry possible.
New Alliance International University is registered with the General Consulate of Haiti and recognized by the Haitian Department of Education and Commerce. Its program and degrees are accreditaed and respected everywhere in the country and aboard.
NAIU and NATS have receive an Accreditation form IAO that must be honored annually. IAO is an international quality assurance agency, working to improve & establish education standards of institutes all over the world. With its global network of experts, IAO grants accreditation to educational institutions, corporations, professionals and qualified individuals. (Waiting final confirmation and agreement)
